Vintage Library Book Collection Photography Cushion

A cushion with that lived in look for book lovers, with a montage of photographs of mostly old leather tooled books from the Leadhills Miners Library in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Founded in 1741 it's the oldest subscription library in the British Isles. Most of the earliest books were on a religious theme, thus titles such as Heroines of Missionary Adventures, Was Christ Born at Bethlehem and Jesus Christ Our Lord. Other titles are Good Words, Wild Life in Sunny Lands, Through the Telescope and Mechanical Engineering. For cat lovers, I've added a vintage illustration of a cat reading a book.
