A mug for admirers of the wonderful, whimsical world of famous English cat artist Louis Wain, this is my stylised version of his adorable teacup cat drawing. The illustration shows a beautiful long haired silver tabby cat having a cup of tea. She's holding a red trimmed cup and saucer complete with silver spoon in her paws as she looks to one side. Her big yellow eyes look surprised. Maybe someone's made a faux pas at the tea table, passed a catty comment or there's been a particularly shocking piece of feline gossip ... ? The coffee mug is beautifully painted in the two-tone hunter green, with the NZ Fantail bird depicted on both front and back and looks amazing.
