Charmed Life's vintage botanical art notebooks feature German lithographs of medicinal plants and herbs from Franz Eugen Köhler’s "Medizinal-Pflanzen" or "Medicinal Plants" published in 1887. Laurus nobilis is an aromatic evergreen tree or large shrub with green, glabrous (smooth and hairless) leaves, in the flowering plant family Lauraceae. It is native to the Mediterranean region and is used as bay leaf for seasoning in cooking.

It is cardboard and plastic /laminated when it clearly states leather. I was expecting a leather front page. .
