Vintage illustration music design, the First Appearance of Jenny Lind in America; At Castle Garden Sept. 11th, 1850. Originally published by Nathaniel Currier in 1850, before becoming part of Currier & Ives. Jenny Lind was a Swedish opera singer known as the "Swedish Nightingale", singing to a full audience with an orchestra behind her.
