A fantasy fairy tale story book design originally published in Harper’s Monthly, 1907. Captain Keitt is a buccaneer standing proud on the bow of his ship in stormy seas. The deck of his boat has an ornate decorative rail and a lantern to show the way at night. They were in a battle and the enemy pirate ship is billowing smoke and sinking deep into the sea trying to survive the ocean's waves in the distance.
