This is a quality reproduction of the rare and wonderful advertisement for Darracq cars, cira 1906-07. Darracq S.A. was a French motor vehicle manufacturing company founded in 1896.
Page 1 of the New York Times reported the following in 1906: "ORMOND, Fla., Jan. 29. -- Victor Demogoet, a driver unheard of four days ago, and who came over as Hemery's assistant, won the title of Speed King here to-day by making the fastest time in the trials at two miles to establish the two-mile-a-minute record. Driving the 200 horse power Darracq car he covered the distance in 0:58 4-5, travelling at a speed of 122 3-10 miles an hour.
