    Vintage Red Fish Yokai Magnet

    One of my favourite yokai is this random fish from the Bakemono Konrei Emaki (化物婚礼絵巻, Ghost Wedding Scroll), drawn by an unknown artist in the Edo period of Japan, sometime between the early 1600s to the mid 1800s. It is described by the International Research Centre for Japanese Studies as a sea bream riding a wooden pedestal, and what more do we need to know, really?

    I ordered thinking this was a New Zealand site (had a .co.nz address) not realising it was shipping from the UK. Have had to use other things for xmas presents as it's now Jan 2nd and they've still not arrived. I'll tell you if it ever gets here!
