Vintage Sparkle Dress Princess Magnet

This is an Arthur Rackham painting created for a book with a collection of stories called "Little Brother and Little Sister and Other Tales". The exact story this was illustrated for is called "The True Sweetheart", a German fairy tale from the Brother's Grimm stories. She was a foresaken girl who thought her prince would come back to marry her. He forgot about her and was going to marry someone else. She then was determined to get him back by wearing her dress with the stars that sparkled. The first two dresses she wore didn't make any impression on him. She put this third dress on with stars that sparkled and kissed him. He rememberred her instantly... and they lived happily ever after!
