Vintage Tropical Pineapple Round Wall Clock

This vintage botanical pineapple design has been created using an illustration from the 1800’s. The artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté was a painter and botanist from Belgium, known for his watercolours of roses and lilies, he has been called the greatest botanical illustrator of his time. This illustration features a ripe orange pineapple with green leaves, attached to its stem. The text across the bottom left reads “ANANAS aculeatus” which translated means Hawaiian Pineapple.
