Vintage Vinegar Valentine - Great Lover, Holiday Card
In the late 1880s to 1940s, Vinegar Valentines were a popular way to send a message to someone you didn't like or someone you wanted to prank. They had rude but funny messages about a type of person that was written as an insult. This card is for the "Great Lover" and features a man about to kiss a donkey in front of a large red Valentine heart. The verse on the front is "Great Lover - Hey, Lover Boy, the place for you is home upon the shelf. 'Cause the ONLY ONE who'd KISS YOU is...a JACKASS like yourself." The inside of this card is blank for your own message.

Good quality card, simple yet nice design, and it arrived quickly. I added a photo on the back of the card and the image printed is very clear. Next time, I‘ll try the semi-gloss finish. I am really happy with the finish of the card!
