Vintage Wain Japanese Musical Cat Postcard

This beautiful Japanese themed postcard features the wonderful, whimsical world of famous English cat artist Louis Wain. Inspired by the 1919 Japan British Exhibition, the illustration shows two cats dressed in beautiful kimonos playing musical stringed instruments. The cats are outdoors on a veranda and there are paper lanterns hanging overhead. There's lots of shrubbery in the background and a beautiful bonsai style tree in a decorated porcelain plant holder. The postcard would be perfect for cat lovers, cat owners and friends and family who love cats or who admire vintage cat art.
