This is a vintage illustration by Arthur Rackham for the 1922 book titled, “Comus,” a story of Greek mythology. Comus (or Komos) was a god of excesses, festivity, revels and nocturnal dalliances. This scene depicts two beautiful goddesses, just below the surface of the water. One sits on a rock on the sea floor while the other arranges flowers in her hair. A large fish swims through the marine plant life just over their heads. The card is blank inside for your handwritten message.
