Vintage Wizard of Oz Characters, Yellow Brick Road
A variety of different characters and scenes from the classic children's Victorian Era fairy tale story book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Vintage illustrations by William Wallace Denslow (1856-1915).
The title page cover art featuring the Tin Woodsman sitting with his axe, holding hands and talking with the Scarecrow. The Cowardly Lion is wrapped around the text letters in the word OZ.
The Cowardly Lion is crying after the young girl Dorothy smacked him across his nose after the lion had picked up her pet dog Toto. "You should be ashamed of yourself! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!" The Scarecrow, Tinman and Toto are watching and they are all in the forest on the yellow brick road on the way to the Emerald City.
The Scarecrow and Tinman rescue Dorothy form the field of deadly poisonous poppy flowers.

The website is very easy to navigate and making it was fun, the added touch of text is nice too. I was a bit apprehensive as the pictures looked quite small when I was making it but the quality is fantastic and I’m really please how clear they came out.
