Vintage Women's Suffragette T-Shirt

Trust in God; She will provide. So said Emmeline Pankhurst (1858–1928), one of the founders of the British Suffragette movement which fought to win women the right to vote. Mrs Pankhurst’s feminist quote appears on the front of the tee with the cover of The Suffragette newspaper published in 1912 by the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU). It shows Joan of Arc, the militant feminists’ ideal woman, carrying the WSPU flag. Joan’s tabard is stamped with the word Justice.
