This beautiful 1939 poster advertises the W.P.A. Federal Theatre presentation of "Native Ground" by Virgil Geddes at Maxine Elliotts Theatre, 39th St. East of Broadway, New York City. The gorgeous illustration shows the silhouette of a plough in field, with a farmhouse in the distance. The colours are vibrant yellow and blue against rich brown fields.
