Vintage WWI Hello This Is Liberty Speaking Poster
This iconic 1918 World War I poster, "Hello! This is Liberty Speaking," is a striking illustration by the noted artist Z.P. Nikolaki. Created as a supplement for the Engineering & Mining Journal, the artwork features an allegorical female figure embodying Liberty, wearing her signature radiant crown. Uniquely, she is depicted using a vintage candlestick telephone to deliver an urgent plea for war bond funding. Nikolaki’s mastery blends classical symbolism with then-modern technology, creating a powerful, direct gaze that commands attention. This vintage piece remains a captivating example of early 20th-century American propaganda art and patriotic sentiment.

Absolutely LOVED the buttons. They were processed & shipped out fast. I made a mistake on the 1st order, Zazzle informed me of my mistake, had me correct it and still had the buttons to me in time.
Thanks so much Zazzle.

I submitted a prior review, which did not get posted, which tells me there is a lack of transparency/reviews are scrutinized and not all posted by Zazzle. Hopefully this one gets posted as it’s important for consumers to understand all experiences. This item had to be redone because the first one, as in the picture I attached, had the head cut off. When I first contacted customer service about it, they indicated it was my error due to the editing tool. Certainly I would never submit an order with the head cut off. The final product I reviewed before submitting the order did *not* have the head cut off. I re-ordered the product under a different order because I needed it right away. After a couple of back-and-forth emails with customer service, they did refund me for the original order. Disappointed in the time I had to take to re-order and get this straightened out with the refund.
