VIPER Moon Rover Jigsaw Puzzle
VIPER or Volatiles investigating Polar Exploration Rover is a NASA robot that will explore the South Pole of the Moon, looking for water ice. It has a 1 metre drill to dig into the lunar surface and sample the soil. If sufficient water exists, it could be used to create drinking water for future astronauts or broken down into hydrogen and oxygen for rocket fuel. VIPER is schedule to arrive on the Moon and begin 100 days of exploration starting in November, 2023.
