This blood thirsty prince was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Vlad actually owned the castle in the background, Bran Castle, which still stands in present day Romania. The castle is now a museum, attracting many tourists.The sword in the picture is a replica of Vlad's weapon and the medal around his neck is a coin minted during his time.He died in 1476.
