On a cool autumn afternoon, I took a walk along the Wallowa River behind a cabin we were staying in near Wallowa Lake. I was surprised to see many bright red Sockeye Salmon fish swimming up the river to spawn as they do every year! It was very special to experience it in person! Photo taken September 2019.
