It was my best friend’s birthday so we had to go on a hike! The infamous Lava Lake trek involved a steady incline to a gorgeous, open, alpine lake. I stood on the frozen water in the winter and this summer I had the privilege of diving into those waters in the same spot. When we were there, it rained on us as we ate our lunch.
