watercolor painting of whimsical Boxer + inspirational saying + story from Paradise, CA fire. when the town was destroyed by fire, the Paradise girls volleyball team lost all their uniforms + equipment. they STILL went to Auburn, CA for championship game + found that the Auburn team had made each of them uniforms, purchased new shoes + pads, made them dinner, gave them each a $300 gift card, gave each girl a large bag of supplies and clothing, also raised $16,000 for them. for me these acts of kindness fuelled my soul to paint silly whimsical Boxer & incorporate the story inside the greeting card. when you feel like the world is falling apart, go do something kind + practical for someone.
