Waterfall in Yellowstone (c. 1895) by J. H. Twachtman is a vintage American West impressionism fine art nature painting. A river with a waterfall through the wilderness. A valley in a mountain range in Yellowstone National Park. About the artist: John Henry Twachtman (1853-1902) was an American painter best known for his impressionist landscapes, though his painting style varied widely through his career. Art historians consider Twachtman's style of American Impressionism to be among the more personal and experimental of his generation.
