Pre-Raphaelite John William Waterhouse frequently painted literary themes, and Windflowers is a beautiful example of the artist’s lifelong fascination with poetic heroines. The painting features a young woman with dark black hair standing in a field of wild flowers as the wind whips across the scene. She wears a white dress with purple sleeves, skirt and stitching. We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
