This was taken very early one morning (or very late one night, I hadn't gone to bed - we'd decided to take a night trip to Santa Cruz and made this stop on the way back) on top of Mt Tamalpais in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. This one is just on sunrise, catching the first beams as they spread across the bay.
