This elegant wedding invitation with a vintage air, recommended for a more formal, "black tie" wedding, has a vintage golden frame with elegant baroque gold decorations on a black leather-like background. The monogram above, the names of the bride and groom and the last phrase are written in an elegant calligraphic script. Due credit is given to the parents of the bride and groom in the phrase "together with their families" preceding their names. All text can be personalised and has a golden colour similar to the vintage golden frame. The background with its elegant baroque gold decorations on r binding is from a vintage French book cover binding, by Georges Mercier (1885-1939) - Madame de Maupin by Teophile Gautier, volume 1, edition 1911, Paris - now in the public domain, from The New York Public Library
