Welcoming Christ Hug Mug

A Mug that Hugs “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34) These scriptures were my inspiration when I painted the Smiling and Welcoming Christ. Most images of Jesus that I've seen were depicting Him dying on the cross or being unwelcoming. This is my own personal interpretation of how I know Jesus Christ, a forgiving, encouraging, redeeming, approachable, inspiring and a loving saviour.
