Who Named America greeting card presents the two-page foldout inside of German cartographer Martin Waldseemuller's globe map printed in mercator style on April 25,1507 at Ville St. Die, France, near Strassbourg, a Renaissance centre. It is the map of many firsts to depict 12 times zones, a new hempisphere (nor of Asica or Africa) and western ocean (now known as the Pacific). There are four maps surving worldwide in this mercator presentation, and one large, wall map (1512) at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
