What Elephant In The Room Post-it Notes

This is a very popular phrase which means that we avoid talking about hard things and problems that are right there. A lot of us do it. Journalists like to use this phrase a lot when discussing politics. Artists like to use it as an expression in our art. I was inspired by a very famous exhibit when I created this piece. That artist used the same colour wallpaper as the room to paint/decorate the elephant so that it was right there in the room, but those who wanted to remain oblivious could remain so. When I created this piece I decided to let that be my inspiration and do my own thing with it. So I left the elephant on a transparent or white background. You will notice that you can change the white colour to whatever colour you’d like. I decorated the elephant with vintage wallpaper motif to give an illusion that he could blend in to the room. Always there, always present, but never noticed.
