Note from artist Mary Kunz Goldman: Whenever I paint butterflies -- which I love to do -- I think back on a trip I took to the Ontario Butterfly Conservatory, over the border in Canada. It was an amazing experience. These beautiful butterflies were flying everywhere. I sketched a few on site and since then I have had a lot of fun hand drawing and painting the butterflies, recalling how awestruck I was thinking of nature and the miracle of insects. Fun for a nature lover and/or butterfly fan!
