The pages are great in the inserts of the booklet. Unfortunately, the gold stripes that appear in the advertisement are not foil and they look more like a cork color in person. I dont think Zazzle altered the picture. When I take a photo with my personal camera they still appear foiled. But in actuality it is less impressive when you have the actual item in your hand. Printing was ok but looks light and faded a bit.

This appeared to be shiny, much more similar to gold foil. It came very dull, with no shine or shimmer or brightness whatsoever, and looked pretty tacky, to be honest. I'm normally incredibly impressed with everything Zazzle-related, so I got the matching post-its, which turned out even worse than the notebook. The lettering on her name was perfect. The design/printing of the "gold" was the issue!

From the picture on the website, it looked as though the gold stripes on this notebook actually had a "gold" appearance. When we received the notebook, this appearance was actually not gold - the dimension and coloring that made it look like gold was actually just printed on. Overall, the journal looked extremely low quality for this reason and we were actually not even able to use them. I thought that the product was MUCH lower quality than anticipated. I would return them if I could, as we will not be using them.
