White Moss on Driftwood Tie
This is an interesting piece of driftwood. It is covered with white moss. We found it laying in the sand while walking along the beach on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. It has a feathery or wispy look to it. The moss also looks a bit like a spider web as it creeps into the nooks and crannies of the driftwood. Individual granules of sand have been captured within its fine spidery web-like stems and leaves.
