It is one of many variations of the water lilies and Japanese footbridge paintings that Monet painted in his spring season flower garden in Giverny, France. A pedestrian bridge over a pond in green tones. About the artist: Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a founder of the French impressionist painting movement with most of his paintings being "en plein air" (in the open air) style impressionism landscapes.
