Wild Card~ Red Vogue, Band Stallion of Steens

Design and photography by wildwindart.com, aka Mustang Meg. A young stallion, known as Red Vogue... for obvious reasons. This wild stallion was part of a bachelor band, comprising of 5 other stallions, until a mare and her filly joined the band. Red Vogue has claimed her and self appointed himself the band stallion. 2 bachelors have been exiled and two remain, most likey siblings he grew up with. I stayed and photographed his band for one whole day, observing, documenting, and learning- watching this former bachelor band in an evolutionary process to a regular band.
