Wild Plains Bufffalo Rolling Wildlife (small size) Poster

Watching a very large wild Buffalo (Bison) rolling joyfully in a sage and sedge grass prairie field is quite an experience. These massive beasts, so large and imposing to look at often engage in relaxing activities like play-fighting and chasing each other through green fields of wild grasses. Rolling in dust, grass or mud serves not only a pleasurable purpose, but a practical one as well, as it helps rid the woolly or moulting coat of parasites like fleas and ticks. We spent some time filming and photographing these great beasties in Saskatchewan and discovered more in Manitoba (for which the province is known), We kept a safe distance from them during their frolicking antics with especial care not to venture too closely to females with their young as they had just recently calved and are extremely protective of their offspring when humans and predators are about. This particular photo print makes the ideal motivational poster depicting fun, relaxation and Joy. 25% of royalties from the sale of this poster print is donated to the Buffalo Pound Conservation Park. We donate to aid them in their project to re-establish a healthy Bison presence in the Moose Jaw district of Saskatchewan, Canada.
