The graceful "Honeysuckle" pattern was created by the English designer William Morris (1834-1896) in 1876; this delicate blue, cream and red rendition, crafted in linen, is now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/222341). Superluminal's Portable Imagery specialises in home furnishings and paper goods featuring designs by William Morris; classic paisleys, batiks, Indian, Japanese, and Chinese textiles; carpet patterns from Turkey, Persia, the Caucasus, India, and Central Asia; Moorish and Turkish ceramic designs; flora and fauna from antiquarian books; alchemical images and Persian miniatures.

The color is perhaps a little lighter than what I thought it would be, but it is tricky to see on screen when you order. I am waiting for another set that this should match to, holding thumbs. No fault of the printing at all if they do not match exactly. I am extremely happy with the product

These are the most beautiful towels I have ever seen. The only thing is - I am too scared to use them. I am worried that the colour will disappear when I wash them! The printing is beautiful as long as the towel fibres are all facing the right way. They look amazing. just looks like the photo above
