The green and red Compton wallpaper design is by William Morris. William Morris designed wallpaper and textiles in the 1800s; this is one of his decorative floral designs that he produced in 1887. He was an English decorative designer, perhaps the most notable wallpaper designers of his time, a member of the pre-raphaelite designers. My daughter in law loved this gift. She loved the shorter length and the pockets. Good durable fabric and well made. Would highly recommend. The printing was awesome.. the only comment I would make is that the print could be placed higher on the bib part as when it is tied around the waist you can’t see the writing well.
