William Morris Vintage “Trellis” Pattern Tablecloth

This is a digitally enhanced print derived from an antique 1864 block printed wallpaper “Trellis” pattern designed by William Morris. It features a wooden trellis with climbing roses and birds hunting insects. William Morris was a Victorian era poet, novelist, textile designer and an important figure of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. His designs had a mediaeval-inspired aesthetic and respect for hand-craftsmanship and traditional textile arts. He was the founding figure of Morris & Co., and Kelmscott Press. He was friends to many Pre-Raphaelite artists such as Edward Burne-Jones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. You can customise the size of the pattern. Although the default background colour is derived from the original design, you can customise this colour to fit your décor.
