I use my art to help me understand Eckhart's teachings. He has taught me that when I witness the constant chatter of my mind, I become an awareness which is beyond my thoughts. This awareness simply observes. It has no form, nor ego or identity with a ‘self’. There is no attachment to a story which defines me as an individual. No concerns of past or future. It is a simple universal awareness observing my thoughts. I find churches help me to find the stillness that allows me to observe my thoughts. I see within me the illusions of self that my mind has created. The realisation is, that I am not just my thoughts.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
