It is also known as the anjumara, traíra, trahira and it is a predatory fish feeding on fish and shell fish. It is native to most rivers basins, including the Amazon river basin, in northern South America and the island of Trinidad. Its maximum recorded length is about length of 120 cm (47 in) and they can weigh as much as 40 kg (88 lb). All profits from sale will be given to the Lighthouse Mission to assist the homeless.
