Women & children Life is not fair; get used to it. Standard Apron
Is life fair or have people gotten the wits of going around it by getting used to life? A beautiful energetic strong women carrying a basket full of food from the market taking home with her child tied in a strong traditional scurf on the back. Women and children where do we stand as victims or circumstance or as a continuation of generation until the end of times! When the wind o change was creeping across Europe, the Americas Asia and the rest of the world, Africa and many other third world countries were just reaching puberty after having gained independence in the mid 1950 or 60s. While the Birkenhead Drill dates way back in 1852 women and children in many of the societies of the world have been victims of social political and economic upheavals. Why haven't people leaders and world governments adhered to this simplest rule of thumb notably the Birkenhead Drill. As a code of conduct the precious lives of women and children are to be saved first in a life-threatening situation. Natural calamities such as droughts, famine floods earthquakes and wild fires have been destroying lives of common people and women and children have had to suffer. While governments and other NGOs, nonprofit organisations and corporation strive to bridge the gap of suffering of women and children a lot is still desired. Who knows when and who knows how given the fact that the world population is rising, war is endemic due to the multiplicity of the elements and above all man is a social animal and its survival for the fittest. If help only comes to women while abandoning ship, what is the world doing when the ship is still sailing in choppi seas and calm waters? Women become oppressed and families become broken and the bale game still continues ans the vicious cycle of poverty ensues. Its the women who need to be empowered. They have the capacity and the capability when shown what to do as beautifully stated by Melinda Gates " Women and girls should be able to determine their future irrespective of where they were born." The women ship is not yet sinking. If there are some which have sunk, the new generation should learn from experience and the hard way that people should not prepare for war if they want peace or development but the community approach development program way back from the grassroots because when you open your eyes and ears across the globe, Bill Gates says as far as all the the help he has given to the development of this universe and mankind with regards to Women & children "Life is not fair; get used to it". Lets all smile and help where there is need. Remember their your sisters and mothers in God's eyes

My daughter in law loved this gift. She loved the shorter length and the pockets. Good durable fabric and well made. Would highly recommend. The printing was awesome.. the only comment I would make is that the print could be placed higher on the bib part as when it is tied around the waist you can’t see the writing well.
