As I approached the entrance to the National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, I was stunned by an impressive structure, housing the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, nestled to the right. Upon entering, I was greeted by my friend and fellow Coast Guard Veteran, Christopher Demarest. He was engaged by the Memorial as professional artist, for portraiture or other assignments. Chris showed me the extensive achievements, to honour our women Veterans of all branches. There, one can look up individual Veterans, and note information about her. It is an extensive undertaking, and my regret is schedule constraints limited my allotted time here. Go see it for yourself!
