Woodland Fern Frond Silhouettes Round Paper Coaster

Two fern fronds on handsome coasters. This handsome design is only in my BotanicalArt shop, where you can find it on many other attractive products. Evocative of pressed plants, the illustration is of a very finely delicate and detailed frond of Davallia fejeensis, also know as the Lacy Hares Foot Fern, or Rabbit's Foot Fern. I have also found the Finnish common name Kaninkäpäläsaniainen. There are around 34 known species in the genus Davallia, but D. fejeensis is the most cultivated Davallia species. Perhaps because its finely divided leaves make it a popular addition to floral arrangements, or because the rhizomes (not illustrated here) are quite fuzzy. This coaster set makes a most curious botanical specimen for your nature loving friends or family.
