World War II War Bonds Print
War Bonds were a big thing during WWI and WWII. I saw some WPA vintage posters that encouraged everyone to use part of their paychecks to buy a bond. The amazing part is that my parents and grandparents were very supportive of both War efforts. This vintage poster of the Statue of Liberty's flame as a background to a fist full of dollars was created by Melbourne Brindle in 1945. It certainly makes you feel guilty if you haven't bought a war bond because 85 million Americans already have.
