WWI "Food—Don't Waste It" Magnet

I can hardly believe that the advice on this magnet is 100 years old! Even though the original World War I poster was intended to encourage Americans to support the war effort by not wasting food, most of its suggestions seem very current and environmentally conscious. Even the suggestion to “use less wheat & meat” is strangely relevent today. For this magnet, I’ve merely cleaned up the original 1917 design by Frederic G. Cooper for the U.S. Food Administration.
