“Stormy Cerebral” is the first painting in a radiograph tree series by Lizzy Rainey, R.T.(R), of Lafayette, Indiana. In a tempestuous expression of colour the artist has painted the vessels of the brain from a cerebral angiogram. The trunk is kinked and travelling upward as an old tree would. Keeping the form of the head itself the brain's vessels are tangled and blowing sideways creates a pattern of branches bent by the wind on a stormy day. I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
