This beauty of a daylily has bright yellow petals with a contrasting maroon or deep red coloured centre. This colourful flower adds colour to your landscape garden. Each flower lasts only one day with a new bud bursting into bloom each day over its blooming season. Daylilies are a perennial and will bloom year after year from early spring through late summer. The plant species is Hemerocallis.

The quality of the card and overall look is just what I was looking for. I love the glossy finish on the front. The yellow petals and reddish maroon center of the daylily is just how the flower looked in person, when the photo was taken. It also looks even better than on the computer screen. The sharp edges of the lily makes the flower jump out against the dark green and black mottled background.
