Yokai Kappa (River Imp) Mouse Pad

This blue mousepad features a Japanese youkai called the kappa. The Japanese writing in the background is the word "kappa (河童)," which means "river child." The English text reads "Kappa: The River Child," but you can change it to say whatever you wish it to! The kappa (河童), a turtle-like water imp, is one of the most famous and popular youkai in Japan. Their most distinguishing characteristic is the shallow bowl of water in the top of their heads, which drains them of power if dried or spilled. Kappa love cucumbers, as well as a fictional human body part called the shirikodama, a ball found within the human butt. Kappa are usually depicted as antagonistic towards humans, and are a general bogeyman creature used to keep children from swimming unattended.
