Yokai Karakasa-obake (Umbrella Ghost) Stone Coaster

The Karakasa-obake (唐傘お化け), or Kasa-obake ("umbrella ghost"), is a type of tsukumo-gami (付喪神, "artefact spirit") from Japanese folklore. When an umbrella reaches one hundred years in age, it will come to life! Make sure you treat your possessions well! This coaster set features a cartoon drawing of a one-eyed karakasa-obake wearing a sandal. The monster's name, in Japanese kanji, appears in the top left.
