"Your Body" Tote Bag

A quick look representing what it’s like to live with the genetic connective tissue disorder known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. People with EDS experience laxity in all of their joints, which results in frequent and painful joint dislocations without trauma. That means that people with EDS can dislocate their joints through simple acts like picking up objects over five pounds, turning over in bed, and walking! While EDS isn’t always disabling, it can be for a vast number of people who have it and it can come with life-altering complications and other conditions. It’s often difficult to explain to people exactly how EDS can affect the entire body, so this design does it in a sassy and quick way, showing the harsh reality of living with this syndrome thanks to the aid of hand drawn skeletons.
