Yum! Hot Chocolate Mug with Recipe

Yum! written in white holiday font on a chocolate coloured mug. There might be something more delicious and comforting than a mug of hot coco, but I can't think of what that would be. Follow this recipe for peppermint coco, and then pour the hot, steamy coco into this mug with this simple message: Yum! Vegan peppermint coco (Serves 3). Ingredients: 6 peppermint sticks, 2 cups (480 ml) dairy-free milk of choice, 1/2 cup (90 g) dairy-free chocolate chips, 1/4 cup (25 g) unsweetened cocoa powder, Dairy-free whipped cream, for topping (optional). Easy to make directions: Place peppermint sticks in a large resealable plastic bag. Close bag. Pound with rolling pin, heavy skillet, mallet or small hammer until crushed to your desired consistency. (Reserve some for garnish). Place milk, chocolate chips and cocoa powder into a blender and secure the lid. Blend until well mixed. Heat until warm (in a saucepan on the stove or in a microwave-safe container in the microwave). Pour into mugs and garnish with vegan whipped cream and reserved peppermint. Drink up!
